Leslie lives near Louisville, Kentucky, with her husband and a rescued, feral-turned-sweetheart cat. In addition to her fiction, she is a freelance contributor to the Archdiocese of Indianapolis’s newspaper, The Criterion. She holds an MFA in Writing from Spalding University, and belongs to Catholic Writers Guild and Women’s Fiction Writers Association.
Like many writers, she came to this career via a journey through several others. As a Registered Nurse, she relished the variety and problem-solving of Emergency Medicine. Nursing helped fund her love of flying, and she attained several ratings including Certified Flight Instructor.
She loves cycling along the Ohio River, singing in English- and Spanish speaking church choirs, and spending time with her kids…when they come to visit her cat. ♥
